When I forget to blog on a daily basis, I look back over the week and have to try and think hard about what we have been doing -  must remember to update daily.

Monday - at home, Mike was on a split shift, spent most of the day in the garden, preparing for our chickens arrival. Becky and Danny spent most of their time playing table tennis - without the table:-

While James did a bit of feet painting:-

Tuesday - Mikes day off - he built a pen and prepared the coop.

He  took Becky and Danny to collect the chickens in the afternoon,  (James was feeling a bit coldy, so had a long afternoon nap).  They both got to go into the field to look at the baby deer at the farm too.

Wednesday - Got ready to meet at Exmouth Park - A Christian HE Group that I haven't been to before were planning on meeting there, but the weather report wasn't good, and it was cancelled.  We still took the train to the coast, we were all feeling a bit under the weather, and the sea air did us all some good.  Had a picnic in the shelter on the seafront, as it had started to rain, and Danny and James managed to get in a quick round of Crazy Golf.

After lunch we went to Exeter to our local HE Group.

Thursday - Lovely sunny day.  We went to the library, came home and sat in the garden, then Mike was home in the afternoon, and we did a bit of gardening.

Today - Outside for breakfast, quite warm.  Shopping delivered at 10am, then outside in the garden again.

This afternoon we went to the library with H, she lives next door to us and is the same age as Becky, Danny stayed behind to hang out with her brother J.

This evening Becky and Danny went to the local Youth Club with H and J, thankfully it is a 1 minute walk away from our house.  Seems like they had a great time.

Danny - he recently borrowed a book from the library - Van Gogh by Bruce Bernard - and has been non stop painting ever since.  Yesterday he painted a chicken on canvas (he noticed paintings of chickens for sale at a the cafe on the chicken farm) today he has been painting sunflowers that I have in a vase in the kitchen - all really good.
Becky has been going for the more abstract approach, and has come up with some really good ideas.

Becky has been to drama this week and has put her name down to take part in a play during the summer. She is really enjoying this group. Danny has been in training for the return of the Rugby season at the end of next month.

James as I have said has been a bit under the weather, which has meant lots of extra comfort breast feeding, which has been a bit draining, especially as the weather has been quite muggy. Also been sleeping more. I have posted more about his escapades at   Little Fingers

Have a good weekend
Blessings
Lou x
