New Years Eve 2017

Well we are finishing off the year in quarantine because of the virus hand foot and mouth, which graced us with its presence on Christmas morning. ðŸ˜®

Christmas, I felt, wasn't too bad.  Although disappointed in missing our visit to much loved relatives in London, and not being able to visit our other close relatives, it was actually quite nice to not HAVE to do anything, and spending time in our own home, just us five, has actually been very rewarding, catching up with much needed bonding time (despite our eldest son being cooped up in his bedroom with his head hanging out of the window to cool his rash 😞)

So today, for New Years Eve, obviously we will be staying in, which is our preferred way of celebrating anyway, but we will be attempting another roast turkey meal with all the trimmings and Christmas pudding, to make up for D missing this meal on Christmas day.  Then onto this evening with our usual party buffet (plenty of drink left) and trying desperately to stay awake to see the New Year In 🎇🎆🎉
