I have not really posted much this past few weeks. Mainly because I like to post about positive things that have been happening in our lives (well most of the time :-) But there have been lots of negative things happening, not major stuff, just little niggly problems that seem to build up, and then they seem to just keep snowballing as each day passes.
Well, thankfully, I seem to be moving on and upwards, and although not all my problems are sorted (are they ever!) I feel more positive, with more energy to get through each day.
The title of this post is from a paragraph of a book I am currently reading The Happiness Project - trying to keep happy memories vivid. I want to post about all the good things in my life, and remember that most of the time they really do outweigh the bad things. I don't want to look back in years to come and read about all the crappy stuff I had to deal with (although sometimes it is good to post about problems and get support from friends) but all the good times we shared as a family.
So - good things that have been happening:-
James has now been seizure free for 24 weeks.
Danny getting an award at Rugby Camp.
Becky doing really well in her play with the local Youth Theatre.
Great family get together at the weekend to celebrate my parents Ruby Wedding Anniversary.
Making new friends.
Making up with old friends.
Trips to the beach.
Organising Home Education stuff (and I love to organise!)
Collecting eggs from our chickens.
Preparing for Autumn (probably my favourite season).
Looking forward to starting a new "term"
Lots of other stuff, but am desperate for a cuppa. Hoping to post more regularly.
Have a good weekend.

The Snatchers - The Play - Drama Group
Becky has been busy over the last two days, rehearsing for a play at her local drama group.
The aim was a play in two days, and it was really good, and of course Becky was brilliant.
The play was about the upper classes being awarded land by king Charles I, at the expense of the foresters, who had always lived and worked in the forest, set in The English Civil War.
I didnt take too many photos, as they asked us not too, and no-one else took any, but I managed to get a few:-
She did really well.
