So on our trip to the Chiefs for Super Saturday, on Saturday of course, we were worried he may not be able to take part in training with the team, but they said it would be OK and he managed to do all the drills apart from the contact game at the end. They also got a tour of the players changing rooms.
Danny had a really great time.
Becky, James and I arrived at the end of the training session, so we got to have our lunch with everyone, and James decided to do some training himself
In the afternoon it was time to watch the Chiefs in action against Sale, with the Crediton team lining up with other youngsters who also took part, to clap the Chiefs onto the pitch.
Cant see our lot, but James is also out there too, being carried by Danny.
Before the match the Mascot paraded round, and James loves him, so I rushed down to the front so James could High 5 him
Then he had his photo taken with him.
Then The Big Chief ran off with him, James was not amused lol
At half time all the youngsters got to parade around the pitch in their teams, Mike as the Coach too, and also James as the Crediton mascot.
After the match Danny and James got their rugby ball signed by players from both sides, including England player Mark Cueto
Great day, and even better the Chiefs won.
Onto Sunday and more rugby, and for the first time this season we lost, just by one try though to a very large (as in large children) Barnstaple side.
Never mind.
