Last week started off great, lots of spring cleaning getting done. DIY jobs finished, interviews for Mike, Home Ed lessons ticking long nicely - then we got hit with some hideous flu/virus/cold type thing (not sure if it could even have been swine flu!)
First I went down with it, then Becky then Mike. It seems to have dragged on into this week, but all feeling alot better now, but still no 100%.
On a more positive note from last week, Mikes interviews went well, had a second interview this week for the one job, but the other, although the job was good, the hours were not suitable for our family, 14 hours shifts, with some 24 hour ones. Mike said he wanted a better quality of life for his family, which is why is volonteered redundancy at his previous job.
Also Danny played Rugby, won his first ever match and scored a hat trick - well chuffed!
This week, still on go slow because of this virus thing, but had a little spring clean/de-clutter this morning. Having a week off of lessons, and concentrating on Holy Week - lots of cool Easter Craft to do as well. Yesterday they did painted eggs with Mike and Easter Baskets. Today they have been doing Easter wordsearches, spring suduko and crosswords, and a hanging cross decoration.
Mike is at B&Q looking at kitchen units, and James is fast asleep bless him.
Looking forward to making easter nests with all the children when he wakes up.
God Bless
